Child Support is defined as a court ordered financial support that is paid by one spouse to the other who has the custody of children after the divorce of parents. The child support remains continued until the children reach the age of majority or becomes emancipated. An Order of Show Cause is used by child support attorney to ask for child or spousal support, for modification of an existing order of support, and to cancel a default judgment.
